This week we are going to be focusing on colors including their names and identification of them. We will be reading Good Night Moon in Spanish (Buenas Noches Luna) and a book called Mis Colores (My Colors) which will allow the kids to gain familiarity with the Spanish names for colors through association with everyday objects. We will also bring in a variety of objects and ask the kids to name which color the object is. This will help with their pronunciation and general understanding as well as introduce new vocab because we will name every object as we pull it out of the bag. Also, we have an activity with little pom pom balls that are four different colors and four cups that are labeled with the same four colors in Spanish. Kids can practice identifying the colors and matching them with their Spanish names by placing the pom pom balls into the cups. We hope to see all you guys there!
